Meisha Simon

Meisha has a great passion for serving Jamaica’s vulnerable children and underserved people. Her journey with Eye on Jamaica is a deeply personal one. She is routinely heard saying, “I love to help people and put a smile on their faces.”

It is rooted in her own experiences as a former resident and later a caregiver at St. Andrew Parish Church Children’s Home. It was there that she spent her formative years and developed a desire to help others in need.

Her firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by children in state care gives her a unique perspective and a profound understanding of their needs. She became a volunteer with Eye on Jamaica to leverage her experience to make a positive impact on the lives of children and other underserved people.

Through her work with Eye on Jamaica, Meisha’s passion for service is evident in her execution of and interactions across the spectrum of our programs and services. Her dedication to the well-being of the children and families we serve is truly inspirational.

Would you like to become a part of the work we do but just don’t know where to start?  We would love to discuss how your time, talents and/or treasures can impact the lives of Jamaica’s vulnerable communities we serve.
