Paulette Thorpe

Paulette is a retired Miami-Dade County educator who is still very passionate about teaching children and providing educational resources to schools, churches and children’s homes. She plays a pivotal role in our ability to service children’s homes on the North Coast of Jamaica.

Our journey began when she was a member of the Jamaica Association of Dade Educators. Her group was instrumental in providing aid to educational institutions throughout Jamaica. She is still fighting to empower Jamaica’s children.

Her contributions to the work we are doing is testament to the power of collaboration. Her knowledge and connections in the St. James area is key to us connecting with more vulnerable and underserved children and communities.

Individuals like Paulette are valuable resources catapulting our programs and servicing to vulnerable spaces once thought out of our reach. When like-minded people unite with the sole purpose of serving those precious children in need of nurture, small acts become big outcomes that brightens a child’s life.

Would you like to become a part of the work we do but just don’t know where to start?  We would love to discuss how your time, talents and/or treasures can impact the lives of Jamaica’s vulnerable communities we serve.
